Miami-Dade County, Florida – As many continue to struggle financially as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Miami-Dade County is launching a new program to help those who cannot afford to pay for water.
Called WASD Cares after the Miami-Dade Water and Sewerage Department, you can donate money to give a gift of water to your neighbors.
The program wants to raise $ 1 million to help families who need it most.
Once the funds are available, the resident can apply for their financial assistance.

“Your contribution to WASD care can make a big difference to the people in our community who are currently struggling and help them find peace of mind,” said Daniella Levine Cava, Mayor of Miami-Dade County. I mentioned in. “If you can afford it, ask your neighbor in need to give you a gift of water.”
