The Texas family named their racehorse “Black Lives Matter” to bring awareness of police atrocities.

The Texas family recently decided to add another racehorse to the stables and give it a name worth mentioning! Apparently, the Hatleys were the first African-Americans to compete for the Quarter Horse in the southern states. Now, with their latest members, Hatley has always found a way to make an impression on the track — win or lose? They named their horse “Black Lives Matter”.

“I named him Black Lives Matter because he was special and wanted to incorporate our culture into the sport,” said family Keendra Hatley Smith. Shade room..

Keeundra is his father Ke’elronn Hatley and his uncle James Hatley Jr. Shared that they own Black Lives Matter. Horse ownership, training, horse riding and racing live deep in the roots of the family. Keendra’s grandfather was the man who broke the first record above. He raced in the 1960s and early 90s. Today, Ke’elronn and James are creating their own heritage.

“We faced many obstacles in trying to legally name him” the life of a black man, “but we knew he would overcome it and make history,” Keendra said. “There was so much police atrocities that we wanted to raise attention and awareness in his name.”

Black Lives Matter horses caused a viral sensation overnight. Keeundra shared a video showing horse racing at Louisiana Downs. Horses start from almost the last place before overtaking other horses to win the race.

Keendra says TSR Black Lives Matter ran four races. But the moment of Louisiana Downs marked the horse’s first victory in the first place. The video shows that Black Lives Matter is skyrocketing beyond all other competitors. The event announcer can hear Hatley’s horse name repeated over and over again.

By Friday afternoon, the post was published daily on TikTok with over 1.3 million views and over 5,000 comments. Black Lives Matter will race again in April 2022.
