According to Dr. Sehaj Grewal, a veterinarian at The Melrose Vet in Los Angeles, pets can be placed around the dinner table, but to prevent potential travel to the veterinarian, keep the pet in a sealed location. It is recommended to keep it.
“Unfortunately, that’s common, but most of the cases I’ve seen are usually resolved with supportive care,” Dr. Grewal said. “But really bad cases have to be hospitalized and infused to maintain hydration.”
Dr. Grewar said these are five safe holiday ingredients that are safe to feed cats and dogs.
Raw green beans
Cooked plain butternut squash
Pumpkin puree (sugar-free)
Seedless sliced apples
Skinless turkey (without bones)
