Thoughts and notes from the spring scrimmage of cocoa

6 packs of thoughts and notes from Tuesday’s cocoa spring football scrimmage …

1. The Tigers attack is dynamic. To be fair, that’s probably not the case with cocoa. This is a program traditionally blessed with elite skill position players, and this group is no exception. Rising Senior and Rising Senior Wide Receiver Jmariyae Robinson, who run back OJ Ross, recorded two touchdowns each, demonstrating speed and ankle-breaking movements in the process. Slot receiver Don Techk (more on him later) and up-and-coming junior wide receiver Kyonkar Horn have also added touchdown reception. This is a group with great potential — and Cocoa didn’t show much DJ Grimes and Cedric Hawkins on Tuesday. Defense will have to choose their poison and expect the best in the fall.
