United Arab Emirates publishes first photo from Mars probe

The United Arab Emirates released the first image of the Mars rover currently orbiting the red planet on Sunday.

The photo taken on Wednesday shows the sunlight just crossing the surface of Mars. You will see the North Pole of Mars and Mt. Olympus, the largest volcano on Mars.

The image comes from that “Amal” or “Hope” spacecraft.

The spacecraft shook in orbit around Mars on Tuesday, winning the Arab world’s first interplanetary mission.
