USA Today Florida’s Top 100 senior football recruits at midseason

Now that the high school football season has reached its midway point and with the early signing period little more that two months away, the USA Today Florida Network is releasing its midseason Top 100 for the class of 2022.

Lakeland defensive lineman Gabriel Dindy is No. 1.

Blessed with a high motor, strength and a quick first step, Dindy is the complete package. The 6-foot-3, 275-pounder’s offers include Clemson, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M.

Dindy is followed by Jacksonville-Riverside cornerback Jaheim Singletary, Monsignor Pace defensive end Shemar Stewart, IMG safety Kamari Wilson and IMG offensive lineman Tyler Booker.

Booker and IMG teammates Jihaad Campbell (No. 8) and Daylen Everette (No. 9) are the lone players in the top 10 who have announced their verbal commitments. Booker is headed to Alabama while Campbell and Everette are committed to Clemson.

The Top 100 was determined by a panel of reporters in the USA Today Florida Network.
