The game will not count until December 22nd, but Utah Jazz will resume activity on December 12th.
The NBA on Friday announces the 2020 pre-season schedule, and Jazz will open a three-game slate at home against the Phoenix Suns on the 12th. This means the first outing after all-star guard Chris Paul was traded with Sands earlier this month against Utah.
The two teams will play again at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City on December 14, after which a pre-season jazz match will face the LA Clippers on December 17. Jazz announced earlier this week that a limited number of fans would be able to participate in the game at the Vivint Arena at the start of the regular season, but this is not the case for the pre-season contest.
Utah will begin pre-season play on the 12th, but the league will start with five games the night before.
The first part of the regular season schedule (released in two parts, the second will be released during the season) has not yet been announced.
The training camp will start on December 1st.
