Washington – Russell Westbrook played the third game in NBA history with more than 20 rebounds and more than 20 assists. He and Wilt Chamberlain played two other games, and the surge of Washington Wizards beat Indiana in the Eastern Conference playoffs, beating the Pacers 154. -141 on Monday night.

Westbrook scored 14 points to achieve his career’s best 21 rebounds and his career’s best 24 assists. This is the league’s 32nd triple-double of the season. He has 178 triple-doubles, three below Oscar Robertson’s record, and seven games left in Washington.

Rui Hachimura scored 27 points, Bradley Beal scored 26 points, Washington scored the highest score of the season, and moved up to 9th place in the eastern part of Indiana’s half-game. Teams that finish between 7th and 10th place will participate in the league’s new play-in tournament for the main playoff draw.

Wizards won the first two meetings and won the Pacers tiebreaker. The team will meet again in Indiana this season on Saturday.

Domantas Sabonis scored 32 points and 20 rebounds, while Caris LeVert scored 33 points with the Pacers, who lost 3 out of 4. Eight Pacers scored in double digits.

Washington finished the first half with a 20-8 run at 4:15 final and took the lead of 82-66 in the break. Westbrook made three of the 11 second quarter assists during the stretch. The first half of the season was the highest score in Washington.

Westbrook recorded 14 assists and 12 rebounds in half with just three shots.

Westbrook’s layup clinched a triple-double, leaving 10:23 for the third time. His 32 is the fourth most common in the NBA season. He holds a record at 42.
