Heat Storm Serious Threat to Nebraska, Florida

7:30 p.m. Update: Clay, Duval and St. John’s Counties experienced severe heat thunderstorms with high winds, hail and localized downpours until 8:30 p.m. The impact will be felt on Interstate 10 and beyond near Interstate 301 to the beaches in Duval and St. Affects southern regions.

Summer-like temperatures continue over the weekend. The combination of heat and humidity could be dangerous again tomorrow, and an excessive heat warning could be issued this weekend.

Tonight: Cloudy and warm with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms near and along Interstate 10 until about 9 PM. Temperatures tonight will be in the low to mid 80’s.

Wednesday: Hot, occasional showers, 20-30% thunderstorms. When I wake up, my body temperature is in the mid to late 70s. Highs are in the mid to high 90s, with a heat index of 105 to 110 degrees. North/southeast winds 16-15 mph.
