Tallahassee, Florida (WTXL) —Big Bend Boys & Girls Club kids learn to run their business.
They run their own lemonade stand.
This is a city pop-up event that showcases business, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy skills.
Participants and organizers completed their business plan on Friday and considered advertising strategies.
For 12-year-old Ti Lung Thomas, his favorite part was making lemonade.
“It’s really fun to make lemonade. We can laugh and learn how to do things,” said Thomas.
Their lemonade stand “Sweet Girls” will be set up in Carrabbas on Saturday.
The money they collect will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club and participants.
