Driver stabbed in crash on the run from police: PA cop

Police said the driver was taken to hospital in serious condition.

It was later that the driver escaped from the police who tried to pull him over. Stabbed during a crashsaid Pennsylvania officials.

At approximately 9:40 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, officers saw a driver turn and drive into oncoming traffic during a patrol, according to a Pittsburgh Police Department news release.

Officers tried to stop the driver, but he started speeding, police said. The driver eventually hit a “large section of the fence” and knocked over a light pole, the agency said.

Police said, “The driver was trapped inside the vehicle with a piece of metal stuck in his leg. Emergency medical services responders were called to remove him from the vehicle and he was taken to hospital in critical condition. .

This incident is under investigation.
