Temperatures will reach highs in the high 80s to low 70s under mostly cloudy skies. With the humidity high, it feels like all of Southwest Florida is experiencing his 80s highs. A boater will encounter moderate chop in the bay where he will encounter 1-2 foot wave heights. This is due to northeasterly winds that can occasionally blow gusts of 20 mph or more.

There is rain in the forecast for Tuesday. A few inland showers are possible in the morning, followed by more rain after lunchtime. These possibilities are higher than we experienced yesterday. No bad weather is expected. These showers will clear up later tonight.

A streak of inactivity continues in the tropics. No named storm expected to form in the Atlantic Ocean in the next 5 days. Considering there are only eight days left in the Atlantic hurricane season, this is great news.
