The camera caught a child throwing Hialeah’s Christmas decorations into the trash while the adults sat and watched.

hialeah, florida – The Hialeah business owner said he was stunned to see a video of a child tearing down nearly $1,000 worth of Christmas decorations and two adults sitting and watching it all.

It happened on Christmas Eve outside the Rossie Nail Tech School on West 49th Street.

In the video, a child tears up decorations, including Mickey Mouse, penguins, and other lighted decorations, while two adults sit at a nearby bus stop, seemingly doing nothing.

A few minutes later, the bus arrives and the three of us board together, along with the child.

“I’m a mother, grandmother, and heartbroken. It really was,” says Irma Arteaga, owner of Rossie Nail Tech School. “I called my husband and said, ‘I need to see this.’ I never sat at a bus stop.”

Arteaga cleaned up the damage and filed a police report.

She said she was concerned that a child’s behavior could be a symptom of a bigger problem.
