16-year-old girl shot in head in Queens

st. Albans, Queens (WABC) — Police are investigating a shooting in Queens that left a 16-year-old girl in critical condition.
The incident occurred Wednesday night around 8:30 pm in the St Albans area.
A 16-year-old boy was shot once in the head outside PS 015 Jackie Robinson, police said.
The victim was taken to a Jamaica hospital and is said to be in critical condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear.
No arrests have been made.
Investigation is in progress.
