All SB lanes of I-95 near WGV in St. Johns County reopen after shooting
ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – All southbound lanes of I-95 — near World Golf Village — in St. Johns County reopened Tuesday morning, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
News4JAX spotted rescue vehicles and half a dozen police cars near the 327-mile marker around 11:45 a.m.
One person was transported to the hospital by a TraumaOne helicopter, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office confirmed. The shooting is being investigated.
Traffic is slow-moving in that area. Drivers are asked to be patient and drive safely.
