Clay County Deputy Chief Charged with Second DUI in Less Than a Year

Clay County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Christopher Cordillon was arrested Friday night by the Florida Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a spokesperson confirmed to News4JAX.

Cordillon was also arrested by the FHP in December and charged with the same crime, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Coldiron is still an employee of the department, but that is subject to change.

“Regarding his status, an administrative process is required and a decision will be made after that process is completed,” the spokesperson wrote in a statement.

According to First Coast NewsCordillon was a patrol lieutenant in the Sheriff’s Office when he crashed in Bradford County in December 2021.
