Crime in New York City: 29-year-old man shot dead in Bronx

MOTT HAVEN, Bronx (WABC) — Police are investigating a fatal shooting outside a Bronx lounge early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a 911 call regarding a man shot outside the Evasion Lounge on 139 East and Morris Avenue at approximately 4:30 a.m. in the Mott Haven area.
Upon arrival, they found 29-year-old Adama Carrera lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. It was unclear if Carrera was actually in the lounge.
He was confirmed dead at the scene.
Police have not released a cause for the shooting and no arrests have been made.
Investigation is in progress.
