Curb Commercial Debris Removal Starting in Unclassified Areas of Lee County

The Lee County Commissioner’s Board has approved the removal of roadside commercial debris on county right-of-way outside the catastrophic and extensively damaged areas designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
FEMA worked with the Florida Emergency Management Agency to identify areas that were devastated and extensively affected by Hurricane Ian. These areas were mostly in Zone A. These areas are usually the property owner’s responsibility, but are now approved to be handled by the county.
