QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) — The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) announced Thursday that a police officer found two missing boys during a traffic stop.
At 1:15 a.m. Thursday, a police officer pulled over a suspected speeding vehicle near mile marker 180 on Interstate 10 in Gadsden County, FHP said.

During the processing of the vehicle’s driver’s license, it was discovered that the vehicle’s driver had been filed as a runaway juvenile from Arizona.
A second boy, also reported missing, who may have been with the first boy, was also in the car.
FHP has filed a communication saying it has contacted the Phoenix, Arizona Police Department.
The boys were turned over to child protection investigators at the Florida Department of Children and Families.
