Four deaths in New York City nursing home linked to Legionella, another under investigation
Morningside Heights, Manhattan (WABC) — Health officials say five people have died at a Manhattan nursing home.
The person concerned Legionella Outbreak Investigated at Morningside Heights Amsterdam Orphanage.
Four deaths related to Legionella have been confirmed, and a fifth death is under investigation.
Death occurred in the past year.
All tests for Legionella have been negative, but residents are being given water, the orphanage said.
