Gas prices continue to fall. Lowest price since 2021, AAA report

Florida gas prices are officially at their lowest since September 2021, according to a new report released by AAA on Monday.

Gasoline prices averaged $3.04 per gallon on Sunday, December 18th. The state average has now fallen for the fifth straight week and continues to drop, dropping a total of 54 cents a gallon since November 18, according to AAA.

Last Christmas, patrons were paying almost 20 cents more on the gas pump when the average price per gallon was $3.23.

Florida is below the national average of $3.14 on Sunday.

With 5.8 million Floridians taking vacation trips, some might see these price drops as an early gift.
