In-N-Out Burger expands east, opening in Tennessee in 2026

Franklin, Tennessee — In-N-Out Burger announced Tuesday that it plans to open offices in Tennessee and restaurants in and around Nashville by 2026.

Gov. Bill Lee, along with In-N-Out Burger owner and president Lynsey Snyder, along with other government and corporate officials, plan to build an office in Franklin, a suburb south of the Nashville metropolitan area. announced.

Construction of the 100,000-square-foot (9,300-square-meter) office building is expected to begin by late 2024 and finish by 2026. The Eastern Region office supports business functions ranging from operations management to information technology.

Founded in 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder as California’s first drive-thru hamburger stand, In-N-Out is still owned and operated by the Snyder family. Headquartered in Irvine and Baldwin Park, California, the company currently has 385 locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Colorado.

Lindsey Snyder, the granddaughter of Harry and Esther Snyder, has hinted that the expansion of Tennessee will lead to restaurants opening in other states in the future.

Snyder said, “I told them I was aware they would be shipping from a warehouse in Texas, but I hadn’t named anyone. There’s a possible road crossing several other states out there.” “So don’t worry. There are others who will eventually be included in this plan.”

State economic development officials say the Tennessee project will create 277 jobs in Williamson County, where Franklin is located.
