Miami – The Bayfront Park Management Trust and the City of Miami held a press conference on Wednesday to discuss plans for a free outdoor concert and fireworks display for the 2023 New Year’s Eve event.
Engagelive CEO Tony Albelo told Local 10 News’ Saira Anwar that a virtual digitized “big orange city” with an official laser countdown clock set to rise 400 feet to the top of the InterContinental Miami Hotel. ‘ will be launched.
The event will be held Saturday from 6:00 pm to midnight at 301 Biscayne Blvd.
The big stage hosts music luminaries such as Latin Grammy Award winner Willy Chirino, virtuoso trompetists Arturo Sandoval and Amaury Gutierrez.

Organizers suggest rideshare services or public transportation. The Metromover station is just outside the venue.
