Pedestrians hit: Six people, including two children, hit by runaway vehicle in Manhattan’s Washington Heights
Washington Heights, Manhattan (WABC) — Several pedestrians, including two children, were injured Wednesday night after being hit by a car that lost control and jumped over a curb in Washington Heights.
The vehicle lost control shortly after 6:00 pm and jumped over the curb at Broadway and West 190th Street in front of the RG Ortiz Funeral Home.
Six pedestrians were attacked, including two three-year-olds with nosebleeds. They were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
A total of four adults were injured and taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

Three of the adults complained of neck and back pain, and a fourth had a broken leg.
All six victims are expected to survive.
The driver briefly fled the scene on foot and then returned. Sources say the woman, the driver, is expected to be charged with DUI.
Investigation is ongoing.
