Halloween is Monday. So kids in the Tampa Bay area go door to door asking for candy. But do you really know who the stranger behind the door your child is knocking?
Many law enforcement agencies are advising registered sex offenders and predators to turn off the lights and avoid popular holiday decorations, but there’s no certainty they’ll listen.
Sex offenders and sex offenders must register their domicile with law enforcement. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement maintains a database containing this information. Many of them continue to live among us after serving.
